Your host

A local business owner, not a platform

My name is Adrien and I run a business on the Pink Granite Coast. I manage the Horizon Marin shops, specialising in Breton-inspired seaside clothing (raincoats, striped Breton tops, knitwear), including the one in Trégastel, as well as the online shop horizonmarin.fr.

I have been welcoming guests since 2020 and know the coast inside out: I answer your messages myself, and I am always happy to share my tips for beaches, walks and restaurants.

Trust

How can I be sure this rental really exists?

L'Anse Roz is an officially rated 3-star holiday rental, inspected on site by Clévacances Côtes d'Armor in November 2023 (the rating certificate can be viewed as a PDF on this site). The same house is rated 4.93/5 from 73 Airbnb reviews, with Superhost status. Your host, Adrien, runs local shops on the Pink Granite Coast: you can call him or message him on WhatsApp before booking.

Why book direct rather than on Airbnb?

It is the same house and the same host, without Airbnb's service fee (around 14%). You deal with us directly, and cancellation is free up to two months before arrival.

Is my payment protected?

You pay nothing when you send your request. Once your dates are confirmed, you receive a rental contract, then pay the deposit by bank transfer or by card via Stripe, a secure payment provider. Paying by card also lets you benefit from any cancellation cover attached to your card.

Booking and payment

What is included in the price?

Cleaning, bed linen and towels, the hot tub, electricity (normal use), wifi and tourist tax.

How do payment and cancellation work?

A 50% deposit confirms the booking, the balance is paid before arrival by bank transfer or card (1.5% fee). A €400 security deposit is requested but not cashed. Cancellation is free up to two months before your stay.

Is there a minimum stay?

2 nights outside school holidays, 5 nights during the shorter holidays and 6 nights in high summer. The calendar shows it as soon as you pick your dates.

How quickly will I get a reply?

We usually reply within 6 hours, and within 24 hours at the latest, by email or WhatsApp.

Is the price shown final?

The price calculated in the calendar matches our rates for the whole house, tourist tax included, and we confirm it in our reply. The only possible extra is the card payment fee (1.5%).

During your stay

Does the hot tub work all year?

Yes, it runs all year round and is included in the price. The only exception is a cold snap with several days of daytime frost.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, at no extra cost. We simply ask you not to leave them alone in the house and to protect the furniture. The coastal path (GR34) can be walked on a lead; rules for beaches vary by season, so please check with the tourist office.

Can we come with a baby?

Of course: a travel cot, two high chairs, a safety gate and corner guards are available. Just mention it in your request.

Is the house quiet?

The living room is above a shop, so between 10am and 7pm you may hear a few voices. From mid-July to mid-August, the terrace of a nearby bar can be lively in the evening, especially at weekends, until it closes around 1am. Earplugs are provided; if the slightest noise wakes you up, it is better to know before booking.

Are there stairs?

Yes: the living room is on the first floor and the bedrooms above, so the house is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility.

How does arrival work?

Check-in is from 4 pm, and often from 2 pm: we confirm it a few days before. Check-out is by 10 am during French school holidays and by 11 am the rest of the year. You receive all the practical information before your stay. A welcome booklet awaits you on site, with our tips for beaches, markets and restaurants.
